What we do

Bid writing for four sectors.

We write tenders for providers in health and social care, cleaning and facilities management, construction and maintenance, and security. The service changes from sector to sector. The rules for winning don’t.

Most bids are lost on things that have nothing to do with how good your service is: a failed selection question, half an answer, a missing document. We make sure that doesn’t happen, and that every scored answer is backed by real evidence from your operation.

Straight answers

Fixed fees, quoted in writing before anything starts.

Honest bid/no-bid advice at no charge, before you commit.

No no-win-no-fee, because it pushes writers toward bids you should walk away from.

Health & social care

Home care, supported living, care homes, children’s services, supported housing, NHS and community contracts.

Care sectors →

Cleaning & FM

Soft FM for councils, NHS trusts, schools and housing associations. TUPE-heavy and won on mobilisation.

Cleaning & FM →

Construction & maintenance

Responsive repairs, planned works, voids and compliance. Won or lost on accreditations before quality is read.

Construction →

Security services

Manned guarding, mobile patrols and CCTV monitoring, where SIA and ACS thin the field before it opens.

Proof, not adjectives

Authorities that have awarded our clients contracts.

We bid UK-wide. This is not our coverage, it is our record: every authority listed here has awarded a contract to a provider we wrote for, and each is backed by an award decision letter, standstill notice or acceptance letter held on file. The providers themselves are named only with their permission.

Each name is an authority that has awarded a contract to a provider we wrote for. Logos are not shown: these are the buyers, not our clients, and their marks are their own.

Watch

Why care tenders are lost.

Grace, who leads BidCrest, on the four things that actually decide a care tender. None of them are about how good your service is.

  • OneEliminated at the Selection Questionnaire before a quality answer is read
  • TwoAnswering half the question, so half the marks are unavailable
  • ThreeDescribing an intention rather than a mechanism
  • FourBidding for every lot instead of the two you can staff

Prefer to read? Reason three is covered in full in our guide to continuity of care answers, and reason four in lot selection is a strategy.

How we work

Four steps, in this order, every time.

Conversation

Thirty minutes, no charge. What you do, who commissions it, what has and hasn't worked. If we're not the right fit we say so in that call rather than three invoices later.

Arrange your call →

Scope and fixed price

Deliverable, deadline and number in writing before anything starts. No hourly billing, no scope drift, no percentage of contract value.

Draft and review

You see a full draft with time to react, not a finished thing the night before the portal closes. Two rounds of revisions included as standard.

Submit and debrief

Bids go in with the compliance check done and every attachment named correctly. Win or lose, we read the scoring feedback and build it into your answer library.

Got a tender coming up? Start with a conversation.

Thirty minutes, no charge, no obligation. We’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth bidding for.
