The main places UK buyers advertise work in our four sectors, and where you register to bid. Use it to set up the right accounts and alerts before a deadline lands.

Find a Tender (also called the Central Digital Platform) is the government's free website for public sector procurement notices. Since the Procurement Act 2023 came into force on 24 February 2025, public buyers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland must publish notices for most new procurements there, above and below the main value thresholds, from early pipeline notices to contract awards; Scottish public bodies mainly use Public Contracts Scotland.
Open Find a Tender ↗Still worth a look
Contracts Finder has not been switched off, but procurements started on or after 24 February 2025 only need notices on Find a Tender, so it now mainly holds older procurements run under the previous rules (the Public Contracts Regulations 2015). Some buyers still cross-post there, so an occasional check does no harm.
Open Contracts Finder ↗Where you actually bid
Find a Tender tells you an opportunity exists; the tender documents, clarification questions and your bid itself usually sit on the buyer's own e-procurement portal, such as ProContract, In-tend, Delta eSourcing, Atamis or Mercell. Each notice links to the right portal and registering is normally free, so set up accounts with the portals your target buyers use well before a deadline.

Councils usually advertise care framework and dynamic purchasing system rounds (approved provider lists that reopen) on Find a Tender and run them on their own portal or Access Adam; NHS bodies mostly use Atamis, and a few councils (such as Leeds and Westminster) use Jaggaer portals.
